Actual placement is a great sign. N/S will eventually note unloading but only briefly as the car will be loaded and sent back the other way.

Ford will update you to Ramp 6P (maybe others there at Voltz as well), which means it's ready for pickup. You may or may not catch them with the convoy shipping detail, which was only available for about 4 hours before being marked delivered to Granger.

A/P to Convoy for me was 3-4 days, but over a holiday weekend
Maybe we’ll get to Granger on Friday fingers crossed

"Shipping Hell" is definitely one of the delay factors. Wait one day you'll be as surprised as I am right now..

Got an email from Ford informing me of yet another delay (to ensure my satisfaction no less.. LOL) and the new delivery date was Feb 2nd - 8th.

A few minutes later the dealer sales representative texts me, "Your Lariat has made it to Mohave, CA".....

If this thread on BNSF travel time accurate, I am suddenly optimistic it will arrive within days. ❗

Just to give you a estimate of travel time to california. Mine was shipped out of Dearborn on Canadian national on 12/30. Went to blue island Illinois and sat for 2 days till it switched to BNSF. Took off towards California and got to needles CA and sat for another 3 days till it was switched to Union Pacific. From there it went to the port of Richmond where it has been since 1/12. Now waiting on convoy. So all together about 13 days to get to the port.

ho hum. 2023 PB Lariat 4x4. I’m in shipping hell. On my 14th ETA. Called Ford Chat again today. Last status change was January 11th. Still sitting at Ramp 5M in New Boston Michigan as of 1/11/23. I was built 10/31/22. Next ETA is 1/22/23 which is Sunday. I’m not holding my breath.
Ughhh. I’m probably stuck on the same ramp as you. 10/31 build, ‘23 Limited, destination - central Mass. This is brutal. It’s getting to the point where I’d almost want to wait til spring to avoid the salt

I know the feeling. It could happen. Spring is only two months away

Hi Ryan, I picked my truck up on 1/9 if you want to populate that in the table. I finally got to drive it in several inches of fresh powder this morning, after thinking it would be spring before my truck arrived. I was impressed with how effortlessly it cut through the snow, and the push button/dial 4WD couldn't be smoother or easier to use. I'm amazed by something new everyday.

I know. I feel they release them to dealerships based on size and volume and if stock or retail. My dealership has had several delivered from same plant, built after and went thru same railyard.... only difference is it is a stock order.
81 days since shipped. Beyond frustrated. Sits in railyard like others. 70 minutes from dealer. Dealer won't do nothing. Ford don't care, honestly.
Called railyard and they stated if Ford calls us and gives us container we will investigate the hold up. Filed a logistics request with Ford vehicle support team. Nothing.
Why can't a retail order customer be told the reason for the holdup through a simple inquiry? Blows my mind that after 11 weeks I still don't know why it sits.
Current ETA will put me at 15-16 weeks in railyard. At this point I am just curious why this sat so long.
Simple story------------
Built 10/26/22
Shipped 10/28/22
Shipping windows:
11/16/22-11/22/22 (first ford email on 10/28 with first ETA range)
11/5/22-11/11/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/25/22-12/1/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/15/22-11/21/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/16/22-11/22/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/27/22-12/3/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/16/22-11/22/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/28/22-12/4/22 (second Ford email on 11/29 changing ETA range)
11/27/22-12/3/22 (chat/call inquiry)
11/25/22-12/1/22 (chat/call inquiry)
12/27/22-1/2/23 (third Ford email on 12/13 changing ETA range)
12/28/22-1/3/23 (chat/call inquiry)
1/24/23-1/30/23 (fourth Ford email on 1/3 changing ETA range)
1/9/23-1/15/23 (chat/call inquiry)
2/9/23-2/15/23 (chat/call inquiry)
I would call the railyard and say you are Ford representative looking into a missing truck. Ask them to verify it is there and to send a pic to your phone. When mine was with the raiI carrier I called the railroad to track it a few times, and occasionally they would ask me what company I was with. I would just say I was calling on behalf of Ford, and that was the end of it. It's worth a shot. In my experience they won't ask you any verification questions you can't answer. It's not really a lie, especially if you believe it ;).

I think the shipping delays for most have taken place at the last railyard waiting for convoy, and I agree there is some regional dealership/ volume logistics to it. I waited just under a month at the last railyard in Minnesota, where there was sub zero temps and it snowed many times. The battery had to be replaced when it finally arrived, and one has to wonder how that affected the hybrid battery as well. No indications of that, but how could I really know?

Being that yours has been sitting going on three months, and other trucks have arrived at your dealer, one has to wonder if it was severely damaged in some way. Ford could be rectifying that, but even that were the case, you would think it would still go to the dealer to be repaired. Good luck Man, I feel your pain.

I called... twice. But didn't say I was Ford. I also actually stopped by railyard and its locked down like a prison yard and got waved away. I couldn't see much from road as the yard was hidden by trees. ETA is now 2/12. Will be 15 weeks. Not concerned... except I sold my truck early November. So curious to see what comes of this mess.

I can't believe I am getting my second 2023 F-150 before some of you take delivery on one. I don't understand how Ford's order selection goes but its beyond FUBAR'd.

Ive also been on the never ending wait for the 2022 Raptor I had and it was a 800a, when it was a thing. I had an XL regular cab that wasn't picked up for production in 2022, I ordered 8 1/2 months before 2022 banks closed.

I passed on my order after they accidentally left off the 360 camera and tow technology package. It’s a sweet truck but I’m sticking with my 22 5.0 for now. This truck is at Duval Ford in Jacksonville, Fl. Ask for Alden Davis, he is wonderful to work with.

Your probably next to me! Now we just wait for the transport😊
I drove to SFO today. Guy from Oregon called about my Excursion. The dealer is on the right hand side of the highway going south. I spotted what looked like a SuperCrew 6.5 box with towing mirrors in white.

Later that day as I boarded the airporter, I texted the sales guy..Did I spot my truck in the lot?

"You would have already been contacted by me if that was the case but unfortunately it has not arrived yet" he responded.

At least it is in Richmond a 35 mile car carrier ride away. It arrived at the rail yard on Friday. It's anyone's bet when it will arrive at the dealer.

Finally here is my last look at the trusty Excursion I have owned for the last 15 years about to depart SFO. This rig has traveled all over the west in all kinds of weather and hauled my trailer to several national parks. I only hope the Powerboost is as a reliable machine as this was. It's a high bar..

I met the new owner at the airport - collected a >20k check and he's on his way.

Oh the sales guy texted back a little later. "Likely this week"

10/31 build date and the Ford tracker finally updated to "shipped". We'll see how the rest of the process plays out but good to see some movement.
