McGuyer: Glad you got your truck! What was the issue with the bed cover? I got the same one installed and it leaks pretty bad at the tailgate. It looks like the rubber seal doesn’t even touch the tailgate. I might have to move the whole cover back a 1/4” or so.

What was the issue with the bed cover?

Same as yours, cover was mounted way too far forward. I could stick my pinky finger in between the cover and the tailgate plus it was not centered or square. Dealer gave me the install instructions and Allen wrenches with the paperwork when I picked the truck up. In short I loosened the clamps to slide rails back to 1/4” from tailgate, adjusted nylon Allen screws to center/square it up. Then torqued clamps. It took a couple iterations to get it just right. Cover now slides over top of tailgate and weatherstrip contacts inside face of tailgate. Oh, had to install the drain tubes too. They were just laying in bed.
Rain is on the way a few days from now, will see how dry it is.

It is official, I have a truck! It came with correct fender badges and powerboost emblems. So now I have to decide if I am going to pull the emblems off or not. 1900 miles on it now and impressed with all the features. Factory retrax tonneau cover installation was a little shoddy so got that all trued up.

Congratulations, it looks awesome. Fortunately it didn’t come with stickers from all the states it visited traveling to Washington state and back.

My vote is to take the powerboost badges off I was so happy to see mine were missing when I piked it up.

Alright y'all, I'm ready to show some skeptical excitement. I emailed Granger last night and they said my truck has arrived in KC! That's the same truck that still shows in production and that I was told 2 days ago is still on chip hold on Michigan! Here's the vvr i was sent. Chip said it's awaiting the truck to take it North!

Thanks McGuyver! My drain tubes are in but I definitely need to shift it back. It’s so good to see you guys getting movement on your trucks. Once you finally get them they really are a nice rig.

Completed all paperwork to purchase the truck today. Now to organize the flight out and to set up the drive back. I’ll snag pics when I get in - hopefully it will be on Saturday, pending a few moving parts still.

The Ford order tracker reported that my truck has arrived at the dealer! It had been in Kansas City at ramp 6P since December 3.

My truck arrived at Granger on the 10th. I am currently scheduled to pick it up on December 30. They would have been ready before that date, but we are working around family plans.
