If you haven't gotten the Whipple yet, have you considered a tune on the N/A 5.0?

I was a non believer for tuning an N/A as I've always had Supercharged trucks BUT I am very pleased with my Livernois N/A tune. It will liven up the RCSB of yours even more and the shifting is soooo much better. Having no C/D is a bonus as well.

i’m not a chrome guy but i’m a huge fan of your truck.
IMO... a RCSB is "old school" and NOTHING says Old School like CHROME!

BRAVO!!

Beautiful truck!

I bought mine for off roading. I'm waiting out my warranty to start my build (make sure any bugs have been worked out on FORD'S dime) but my speed demon friends are hounding me to go "street racer" after they drive it.

The RCSB 5.0 is just crazy FAST!

But it climbs mountains like a Billy goat too so...;)

Ok, I understood almost everything you said. I have always wanted to boost with a Whipple but times are tight and I have college tuition to pay for my kids. I also looked seriously at the Livernois tune. I almost pulled the trigger one night but I was drinking that night. 😜(no drunk shopping allowed).

Sorry, but I have no idea what “no C/D” means. Can you please explain?

Cylinder deactivation. With your exhaust, it must drive you crazy if not in Sport mode or Tow/Haul.
The tune is worth it. Shifts are much nicer, if you run 93 octane you'll get a little extra jam under your pedal as well.

Oh! Got it!
I live in Sport mode mode so Auto start/stop and cylinder deactivation aren’t issues for me.

So it’s been a while since I posted (forgot my password). Since the last post, I have done a few more upgrades.

After installing the headlights, picked up the high beam conversion kit along with the HCM. This allows the lights to be fully operational. While I was at it, I did the Forscan tweak to turn on Bambi mode. This allows the fog lights to stay on with the high beams. I also turned the DRLs up to 75%.

Next, I installed a set of Tremor taillights and conversion harnesses. There were a few minor Forscan changes to make the new BLIS sensors work.

After that came the FitcamX front 4K and rear 1080P camera system. Super easy and clean installation. The front camera mounts behind the rear view mirror and plugs into the back of it for power. I stuck the rear camera behind my IHC sticker so it peaks around it.

Now today, a set of black Katzkin Tuscany Leather seat covers with perforated center sections showed up on my porch. They smell so gooood! Can’t wait to install them but I might wait for Labor Day weekend. The heat index is over 100 this week and that is brutal!

Finally, here are a couple of cool pictures that a guy did for me with AI backgrounds. These are followed by some actual pics at the local marina.

Very nice. I think my next mods will be upgrading the headlights and taillights.

Who did you purchase the necessary harnesses from?

I got the headlights, taillights, and the two conversion harnesses from Scott Treichel at CSS Lighting, LLC. He gets the harnesses from Ryan Broderick. I bought the HCM and high beam harness directly from Ryan. They are both great guys and were very helpful whenever I had any questions. I would highly recommend them both to anyone. You can find them by searching Facebook.

Finished my Katzkin install this weekend. The seats were super easy compared to my Wife’s Bronco. The clips that the F150s have are way easier to deal with than the hog rings that the Broncos use.

The center seat/console was a complete pain! I have seen YouTube videos where people glued the cover on the console lid. The factory used staples instead and that’s definitely the way to go. Once I got the right staples and a good staple gun, it worked out pretty quickly.

Yes, there are a few wrinkles that need to be steamed out. Overall, the covers match the interior great with stitching that match the factory trim on the dash and steering wheel. I don’t think they look WOW, because they honestly look factory if it wasn’t for the Katzkin tag.

I’m really pleased with the look and feel. Also super happy about how much I saved by installing them myself.

Super cool build. A full center console would be awesome in that thing!

@Scrambler68 Would you be able to get me the part number for the Fox shocks you installed? I've found a few part numbers online. I just want to be sure I get the correct ones for my RCSB.
