Love it! Also love to see naturally aspirated builds. Refreshing to see an N/A in the 11’s! It would be nice if Comp cams would make F-150 versions so we didn’t have to go the custom route for some more lift.

Ordered the truck last September and received it early in October. Spent the first few months chasing the goal of running 11’s and succeeded. If anyone is interested in the back story, it’s in this thread

I’ll pick up on the build progress here and keep you guys posted.

Recently installed and then removed an IHC ride comfort kit. Had issues with the conical sleeves, which hindsight tells me they were one-time use only parts, that let to wiping a lower ball joint out. The pitfalls of buying used parts. So, caveat emptor.

When torquing the lower ball joints, this is as far as it got before the nuts/threads stripped.

Left with no alternative, had to return the suspension to stock. Reached out to KellTrac for a set of coil overs and will try again soon

It was pretty easy to get there and I did it with stock 31” tires. I have a buddy running 11.30’s with a Circle D converter, drag wheels/tires and long tube headers. These things are SO much fun!!

As you’ve probably already seen, L&M is close to offering VDE delete cams with more lift. I’ll be adding them to this truck in the future.

Plenty of progression videos in my YouTube channel, if you get bored. Most all of the video descriptions detail the current level of mods. This is the entire playlist from stock to current.

Very nice. Everybody lowers them and installs 20/22's but it truly looks perfect with the factory aluminum 17's and stock ride height. I would not change either.

Love it - looks plain jane! SLEEPER! Have you made anyone a 'believer' on the way to work!
I too love that it's N/A. I want to take mine to the drags this spring.

Can you post a pic of the intake? Nice setup!

Very cool, even better that it looks like you did this yourself. I installed a ported lower intake on my 4.6 32v Marauder years ago. Kinda scary to see the open intake ports, once it's opened up. I also did a 'rear head cooling mod' as #7 was a dead end for coolant on that engine.....

Oh yeah, 100% carport work at home.

I don’t outsource for much!! Major painting, machining, internal transmission work and welding is about all I can’t do at home myself.

It's great you can do the labor yourself! It's bringing you great results without breaking the bank.

Speaking of bank, if you don't mind, what have you spent so far? What do you think your complete list will cost you?

Thanks!
