Hey all, quick intro to myself. I just recently traded my Rebel in for a ‘23 Raptor and couldn’t be happier. I also run a YouTube as a hobby where I film all my part installs (lighting, stereo, suspension etc.). Basically every part I add to any of my trucks, I try to film. I had a blast doing this in the Ram groups so hopefully the Raptor groups are just as fun.

The intent of my channel is to help folks tackle their own projects. I like working on my truck and helping folks so running the channel is a win/win for me.

Anyways I’ll be dropping all my videos in this thread as the truck progresses. Let’s go!

First interior upgrade is the bulletpoint device mount.

Had the same mount in my Rebel and loved it so it was a no brainer to add it to my Raptor.

Yes I most certainly did. There are no markups on the Raptors here in Illinois. At least the ones I looked at.

Celebrating front end Friday by installing some goodies from Corsa

Since the dealership lost my floor liners I needed new ones so installed a set of TUXMATs in the Raptor.

Keeping the upgrades flowing, I added a Corsa air intake this week. Gives me a bit of a throatier sound at WOT but also tees the truck up for some tuning down the road.

Not exactly a NEEDED project but this is my first turbo truck so I wanted to get the full turbo experience and installed a Boomba BOV spacers.

Fun little upgrade to install!

I've always been a huge fan of the accent vinyl around the Raptor's headlights on Gen 2 so decided to install the Rocky Mountain kit on my Gen 3. The kit uses 3M 2080 film. I went with matte dark gray which is a very close match to the gray on the number but thinking I may update to a dark color (matte black or matte metallic black) since the gray tends to blend in with my azure blue paint a bit more than I wanted. I also messed up the passenger side during install so I need to pick up a new kit anyways.

For me...laying vinyl's is kind of therapeutic so long as you take your time, use a ton of application fluid, and be careful with the heat.

Do you know if these would fit a 2022 F-150 non-Raptor? I think they would but not 100%. Maybe I will contact the company.

They don’t make a kit for non raptors.
That said you can buy these and using cutting line to cut them to fit after you install them. That’s be a pretty fun project.

Finally installed a tonneau cover just in time for a hockey tournament this weekend.

The Bak Revovler X4ts is a hard folding cover with t-slots which means I can add a rack and some chase lights down the road.
