Got the P3 analog boost gauge installed. I ordered the bare kit as opposed to having them include the vent pre-assembled. Assembly was very easy, took 20 minutes max. Total install was about 2 hours but I'm OCD about wiring/zip-tying stuff. With a 10% off coupon code I had everything for under $300 shipped. I have the SCT X4 to display other metrics when needed but I wanted something discreet to display boost full-time.
The analog version comes with the boost sensor, vacuum line and the gauge itself. I just needed to supply a t-splitter to tap into my existing vacuum line. Tapped #2 on the passengers fuse panel with a bussman fuse tap for switched power. Grounded via existing bold just above steering column. Vacuum line tapped on existing line running to my maxflow discharge coming through a puncture at the top of the steering column grommet (it has a nub provisioned for additional routing already which is great).
It starts when the truck is started (or double-key but not started mode). A handful of display options exist but I haven't messed with it much. It doesn't interfere with the vent control.
