Upper glove box closure

I noticed that I had to slam mine as well until my wife figure out that you have to push DOWN on the handle. You would think you push it in towards the front of the truck because that is the way it closes. If you push DOWN, towards the floor, on the handle, semi firmly, it closes nicely.

Thanks for the feedback. Pushing down toward the floor and not toward the front of the truck did the trick. I don't think I'll even bother taking it in now that I can close it without slamming it.

I have a 21 xlt rental with 39k on the odd. This top glove box closes easily. I can hear the latch at the top left engage and it seems to require the least force on the left of the "handle' more so on the right. No slamming involved.

The lower one, Yes.

Mines the opposite... to get the top one to close semi easy, I have to push down on the left side of the 'handle'
