Does anyone see need to close the upper glove box pretty forcibly to get it to latch? If i just push it down it won't latch. Dealer is trying to tell me that's normal. I tested another f150 on the lot and it closed great with little force.

I haven't looked by I assume the latch should have some adjustment. I might just need that.

I would need to see the mechanism to tell if it will break-in and get easier to shut, or harder and harder to shut; eventually not latching at all. Hopefully, they had someone or something open and shut the door thousands of times to make sure that it works long term.

For the time being, mine needs a positive push until it overcomes the latch mechanism and stays shut. Once, lightly flipping it up with one finger, it bounced open again. Now I press it shut with two fingers and it stays closed.

That's the dealers favorite quote, they use it every time I go in..
BS!

For you viewing pleasure. I posted the issue on YouTube. I'm planning on taking it to another dealership to get it addressed

Okay, just went out and played with mine. Seems like it latches on the left. Easy to close on the left. I had to press firmer as I went right on the handle. But, never had to slam it.

I noticed that I had to slam mine as well until my wife figure out that you have to push DOWN on the handle. You would think you push it in towards the front of the truck because that is the way it closes. If you push DOWN, towards the floor, on the handle, semi firmly, it closes nicely.
