2022 PB with HD tow and 7kw GenSet purchased from dealer in 07/22:

10K service appointment…sheared axle bolt found on passenger side

20k service appointment (down over a gallon of coolant) cracked thermostat housing and driver’s side wiper blade over shooting the window by about an inch

30k mile service appointment TRAILER BRAKE MODULE FAULT…scheduled for next Wednesday…

my piece of crap 2008 Commander was more reliable than this…and that is saying something

I’m highly hesitant to even contemplate towing my travel trailer with this thing.

Anyone else having this many issues???

Is this a troll post the administrators haven't caught yet?

I don't know about that. Looks like a rant post on first glance.

Sometimes a man just needs to get it off his chest. If it helps, I feel it's served its purpose. :)

Not at all. I have a 22 PB purchased new in January 23. Impressive you racked up 30,000 miles in 9 months!

Definitely not a rant. A 300 mile day is normal with my job.

34521.2 miles to be precise.

Been a Ford guy all my life: 67 Mustang, 66 Ford Galaxie, 88 Bronco 2, 88 Ford Ranger, 80 F150, 2008 Ford E350 6.0 liter (don’t get me started about 6.0 issues) and now the F150 PB

Frustrated yes. Rant No…more an inquiry into whether I should have bought the F250 with the 7.3…given the litany of warranty issues.

Thankful it’s been under warranty (and damn straight I’m buying the extended warranty on this thing given the above).

I think the axle bolt and trailer brake controller were both recall items. I’m not sure if the wiper blade issue you’re experiencing is also in relation to the recall they have on the wiper assembly. Either way it still sucks recall or not to have these issues come up, but any recall items are obviously covered even if you’re beyond your warranty period.

If those were mostly the recall items then 1-2 repairs over 35k miles isn’t too terrible. We learn to live with some faults on older vehicles (at least I do)

Unfortunately the only photos I took of the coolant leak was when I was in Florida lying on a parking lot trying to figure out if it was the heat exchanger they mounted behind the catalytic converter that was leaking as well or was it just the single leak from the front of the engine compartment…that I couldn’t readily see. Those photos suck. Lol.

While I certainly sympathize with your issues, allow me to offer you a little perspective.

I've seen one story of a guy that had a wheel fall off at 300 miles

Several people have had crazy electrical gremlins that made the vehicles not only undriveable, but they wouldn't even start

Many people have (metaphorically) had their ear drums blown out by a bad speaker system

moon roof leaks

windshield leaks

engine fires

Don't get me wrong, you have every right to be upset and frustrated, I know I certainly would be. Just know that it could be much worse. I don't say this to trivialize what you're dealing with, only hoping to offer perspective.

Good luck with all of the issues/repairs :)
