I went in for an oil change at the dealer recently. The tech noted a rear differential weepage and their next available appointment for repair is in May.
Does anybody else have a rear differential weepage?
Seen a few reports on leaking pinion seals in the rear diffs. and I wonder if it has anything to do with the throttle pedal vibration many are experiencing as an out of balance driveshaft can cause this.
There are UV dyes that can be used and multicolor kits are used in industrial settings to find out what exactly is leaking when multiple possible sources are present.

Fluid Film is a lanolin based oil and the gear oil in the differential is likely going to be thicker and darker. Sometimes, different lighting is needed to differentiate between existing oil leaks or applications and fresh stuff. Also, in a dusty environment; gear lube leaks are really good at getting grimy.
