This is pathetic. When will a fix be released??? Audio quality when truck was new 7 out of 10, after the audio update a month ago 2 out of 10 This is very disappointing. Ford has downgraded an option with a software update. Is this how they resolved the back glass rattle published in a TSB??? Very poor implementation from Ford. Jim Farley proclaims Ford has to do better and improve quality….this is not the way to do it. I’ve been a Ford customer my whole life like my father before me. I worked as a Ford technician for a number of years and this might be the last straw. This might be my last Ford. @Ford Motor Company …. What options will you downgrade next??? Will you make the mistake others made and make us pay a fee to re-enable features we already paid for like heated seats??? I’ve owned a 1983 Ranger, 1987 Ranger, 1990 Bronco II, 1993 Ranger, 1994 Thunderbird, 2001 Focus, 2002 F150. We currently have a 2010 Fusion, 2008 Focus and this 2021 F150 in the driveway. My father will be rolling over in his grave after I trade this truck in for a Tundra. A sad day, and end to an era, a lifelong Ford customer lost

So I think they fixed it. I've only been in the truck a few minutes.... But an update was pushed out today. Comment said minor changes here and there. I didn't see a update number. Can anyone else confirm?

So I think they fixed it. I've only been in the truck a few minutes.... But an update was pushed out today. Comment said minor changes here and there. I didn't see a update number. Can anyone else confirm?
Haven't seen anything in the last couple weeks. What's the update number? Ford app should show it, and so should the truck.

If you've received an OTA update, it will appear in Fordpass. Please post a screen shot of the update to include the update number.

Yeah, i've got 2 vehicles in EA and I'd expect them to test us guinea pigs with it first. They just polled on the update itself, they're not typically this fast on reversions, let alone a new update for doing whatever they wanted to achieve with this -- my guess is cheap ass blown speaker mitigation??. Those $3 specials just can't handle all the powa!

I'm also EA haven't seen anything on this. 23-PU1024-6CH-AUD was sent to me on 3/25 and nothing since.

here is the update that I just installed. I don't see a update number anywhere. The install said it could take up to 45mins? I'm not sure how long it took. I started it then went inside and got distracted.

Like I said though, I haven't had much time to play around with it. It was MUCH louder, though the audio, to me, seemed too high in the center channel. I had to cuff my hands by the door speaker just to confirm they were working.

But... it did seem back to normal loudness levels.

I hope this update fixes it, I seem to have it queued right now. Will start the install when I get home.

I just received the update and the problem seems to be fixed. The update showed downloaded on the way to dinner this evening. I could immediately tell a major improvement took place as soon as I started the truck. I’ll post here again after I log a few miles but it seems like the B&O audio system I started with in 2021 is back!

I just received the update and the problem seems to be fixed. The update showed downloaded on the way to dinner this evening.
