Power Up for Trailer Backup Assist Stickers

Hey All,
My 2016 150 had the option of using the stickers for the trailer backup assist. The 2021 was supposed to come with a sensor to mount to the trailer. I did not get that. The truck manual says the truck is supposed to get an update to allow the use of the trailers stickers that came with the truck; however this has not occurred. Not that I need it, but it is handy to have at times. At this point, I have paid for Trailer Backup Assistance that cannot be used with the current setup. Has anyone heard of the update and when it might be coming down the road? I just got an update yesterday to 2.0.0 I think, but now I can get the update from Ford Pass......oh bother. It had something to do with voice commands for Ford or something.

It's just a knob I can't use right now and for a life long fiddle jacker that is a problem!

Just to make sure we are on the same page. I'm not asking about the trailer control module recall. I'm asking about the ability to use the stickers on the trailer backup assist vs being required to install a sensor on the trailer.

I wasn't replying to you, I was replying to AutonomousHybridF150.

In regards to your concern about not being able to use the stickers, there are already a few threads on that for folks with 2021 Job 1 trucks.

I have mine in the shop right now for recalls, and I specifically had them add a warranty line to update all of the modules to add the sticker capability to the Pro Trailer Backup Assist. I'll give an update as to what happens today or tomorrow.
