Park Aid Sensor alerts

Hello.

I understand this is not specific to the 2021 XLT 301a Powerboost but has anyone had issues with "sensor blocked" alerts constantly when no sensors are blocked?

This alert (pic) pops up for 1-2 seconds and goes away, sometimes only the tone alert in the cab goes off. I've not been able to find anything on which sensor it is. Or what "N/Av." means.

I also am not sure why when you go into Driver Assistance settings and turn off both front and rear sensors, and it clearly says "(Always)" on the screen next to the toggle, but they always come back on after re-start.

My real goal is the turn them off permanently and not have to push the dash button every time I start it.

Do you have a hitch in your receiver?

I have had issues with the sensors and remedied it by removing my trailer hitch from the receiver. It is a larger hitch with provisions for load distribution, so it was big enough the sensors saw it and would go crazy.

No hitch. Seems this sensor behaviour might be in freezing weather though.

Just wish I knew what N/Av. meant. Cant find anything in the manual.

I'm assuming that means "Not available"

That was my first thought but then why the /. Oh well. Probably right.

I guess another visit to the dealership is needed. Thanks.
