Metal fuel tank skid plate

Looking to upgrade the skid plate on my PB. Has anyone put one on? Looks like ford may sell a metal one for around $150.

I have the RCI fuel tank skid installed on my 5.0. I also had to get the fuel tank straps because my f150 did not come with any skids installed from the factory. Installing the skid was easy, installing the straps to hold the tank/mount the skids took a bit more time. If you need to install the straps with the threaded bolt on them for skid plate install you will need to support the underside of the gas tank. I used 2 floor jacks at either end and a ratchet strap around the frame.
