2010 F-150 XLT Crew, 2022 King Ranch 4x4 ordered
It appears that King Ranch builds are subject to more delay than other configurations, and I'm just curious about the what people are currently experiencing.

I ordered mine on 11/1/2021 (submitted by the dealer 11/2), and I received my order confirmation email from Ford on 11/12. Nothing since. My configuration includes the following:
  • 4x4 Powerboost
  • 601A
  • Smoked Quartz, Chrome Pack, Mono paint
  • Moonroof
  • 7.2KW ProPower
  • Trailer Tow
  • Tow mirrors
  • 360 cameras
  • Spray-in liner
  • Folding tonneau
I did not and will not add Adaptive Steering, not now after the MSRP bump (perhaps for $1k but not $1885). My purchase will be X Plan, and the order has a priority code of 19. When I ordered, I expected to wait until April, so it's still within my expectations. But I'm just trying to cut through some of noise about adaptive steering, spray-in liners, and King Ranch scheduling in general to better understand what's happening with this particular trim level.

If you ordered a King Ranch specifically and choose to participate, please summarize your configuration and the known details of your order status, even if you've already taken possession. And FWIW, I'm posting an identical thread on another forum. Thanks.

I ordered almost the same truck… king ranch smoked quartz chrome package. I ordered mine with retractable tonneau and without tow mirrors. Lay flat seats, work surface. All else the same. I ordered mine on 11/20 and received order confirmation email from Ford the same day. To my knowledge it has not been scheduled for production. I have a 10 priority code, but no special pricing. Dealer told me it would be 16-18 weeks.

I ordered KingRanch 11/12 and it was priority 2 all through January and finally got scheduled Thursday a week ago. So almost exactly 3 months waiting for getting scheduled.
So you are getting close but you need your dealership to help you a little by changing your priority.

Build week is April 4 if nothing changes. Which would be a miracle

OP here. My 11/2/21 KR order has finally been scheduled for 5/16/22. Now the question: do I go ahead and put new spark plugs in the 2010 or just wait? Could still be months away.....

I completely understand. I quit looking at this forum because I got tired of seeing so many trucks built for orders taken well after mine.

I didn't exactly get it quickly, but I don't understand why my 11/12/2021 KingRanch would get built before a 11/2/2021 order?

Or one even ordered earlier.

Mine got built yesterday according to the tracker this morning. And then later today updated with being shipped.

It's a Powerboost 6.5' bed and loaded to the hilt. The only thing I purposly left off is pano roof and bed liner.

I hear ya! I just had service done one my 2016 XLT F150 and they said I need new brakes all around (69k miles). I also received my KR schedule notice today. Not sure I want to put the time $ and effort into them now..
