Hey all, after lurking for a bit and posting questions, I’ve officially joined the club! A little backstory: have been looking for a Platinum for quite a while but was only willing to consider a ‘21 or early ‘22 build due to the deleted features starting in mid-22 all the way through ‘23MY. The ‘24 refresh is just not my cup of tea. Add to that my desire for the 5.0 and caramelo interior and, well, it was a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Happy to report my patience paid off. Found this truck at a dealer ~260 miles away so the wife and I made a day trip to check her out and ended up pulling the trigger!
Introducing my 2021 F150 Platinum FX4 in carbonized gray metallic on carmelo interior w/the 5.0 coyote & 44k miles. 701A, tow technology package, pano roof, lockable partitioned storage, interior work surface, max recline seats, 36 gallon fuel tank, factory bedliner + tonneau cover & bluecruise ready.
It’s only been about a week but loving her, so far! Have done window tint & swinging toolbox in the bed, thus far but leveling kit, wheels, tires & exhaust are all on the upcoming to-do list. Pics attached!
