My first partial tank on my Platinum FX4 SCrew 5.5:

Total Miles: 232.9
Electric Miles: 44.7 (19.19% of total miles)
Cluster Indicated MPG: 17.7
Actual Measured MPG: 18.8 (12.39 Gallons)

This is the first vehicle I've owned where the cluster underreported MPG. 18.8 in comparison to my 2018 F150 FX4 Ecoboost 3.5L SCrew 5.5 is about 4.3 MPG better, given I've been driving about the same conditions since purchase. I'm pretty happy with that for the first partial tank since my truck is fully loaded as well. I think as it breaks in and I learn how to better maximize the hybrid system at slower speeds, MPG will improve.

I've had mine for less than a week. About 150 miles of driving and only getting about 10% of the miles under electric power. I thought it would be higher. It's hard to keep it electric.

By the way, I like the letters. I might just copy you this summer.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting with yours? My powerboost has been a giant disappointment mileage wise so far

Is your truck all stock? Not sure who your message was directed at, but my first measured MPG was 18.7.

I changed the wheels but my god I can't believe they affect it that much. My first tank was 12 and this tank is 15.5 so far. I went to 295/60 tires on 20x9 vs the stock 275/60 on 20x8.5 I think

It's not just the diameter. You've increased the width and went from a Load SL tire to a Load E 10-Ply. I'd bet your wheel package is 20lbs heavier per corner than stock. That adds up much more than you may think. Then adding a level adds some additional wind resistance. The Hybrid system is pretty weak, so you've made it more difficult for the truck to go into full electric driving. I'd use the EV coach screen in the cluster to assist you in trying to get the most MPG. If you're doing mostly highway driving, then you won't get much back from the hybrid system anyhow.

This is why I've been carefully considering if I want to level and go with new Fuel wheels. However, the only tire I've found which is Load SL is the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 in 275/65/20, and that would likely help quite a bit in retaining MPG.

I do drive a lot of highway, and will definitely consider going down a size next round if it doesn't get any better

(2021 F150 Plat PBoost Hybrid picked up in early January ~2k Miles)

I will say that as far as miles go….I am happy. On average my mileage is between 17.8 to 19 but I have had some local trips where I have exceeded 26 or more depending on how I drive. For short local trips to grab food or groceries I average 19.4.

It does take some practice on understanding when and why the hybrid kicks but after that is a great drive.

Have even had a couple drives where I am fully on electric at 40 plus MPH which I have been told not to expect.

That's about what I am getting in my 502A PB. The mileage is sort of boom or bust. If you manage to get it just right, you can really crank up the mpg (obligatory awesome trip summary photo below). If you don't, you'll end up in the high teens. I've also noticed that even when it's 60-70 degrees outside and I'm not running any HVAC, the truck still takes a bit to "warm up" before it will kick into electric only mode. Our daycare is about 1.2 miles from home, and I can never get it into electric on the way there.
