So I just got my 21 PB 7.2kw back from the dealer. They replaced the Charger Battery Adapter - Ford (MU5Z-19A464-C). This is the panel in the bed that you plug the electrical cords into the outlets. I don't know if this is the actual fix but I find out when it snows.

Similar story for me.
Had a 21 PB w 7.2kw and never saw the issue. Traded to a 22 PB w 7.2kw and had the issue twice so far, both times while driving on snowy roads. Cleared after a few hours both times.
My bed is covered and mostly dry in the rain and snow.
Since there's a theory out there thinking this may be related to water/slush/very-high humidity ingress inside the left rear fender behind the bed power-outlet panel, has anyone looked into wheel well liner and/or mud flap use? My 21 had OEM Ford wheel well liners, the 22 has Huskys. Neither had/have mud flaps.

I have wheel well liners. I also have cap that seals my bed. No water gets in that way.

I personally think it's water/moisture up front. As mine shutoff after smashing through 3' snow drifts.

IT'S FIXED!!!!!

Well it's looks like replacing the outlet panel FIXED the issue. We just got 4 inches of snow dumped on us and I took my truck out for 30 mintutes trying to drive though as much snow and sleet as possible. The last time the generator tripped in snow it only took 10 min for it to trip.

I wonder if it's not necessarily the panel itself, but one of the connectors going to it wasn't fully seated allowing moisture in. Either way, at least it's fixed.

I took all the connectors apart for the panel and used dielectric grease on all of them over last spring, but who knows.

Sorry u r suffering this as well . Have you noticed if it happens if its dry for a stretch? .
Have you seen the posts about certain wire harness that has been found not properly connected by some ?
Never when dry. Always when wet and cold ..less I wet and warm weather .

Few things for people.

1) The ground fault on these trucks is computer controlled. Its not analog like in your homes. Has many sensors that detect all kinds of things and the software makes a decision. If they have some settings/ thresholds wrong or too sensitive they could be tripping too early. So in this case a software update could absolutely fix this problem.

2) More than likely its a little moisture causing a little voltage to sneak more than ford wants. Has anyone taken their truck when the ProPower is working and selectively wetted areas with a hose? engine compartment for a few min, ProPower panel in the bed for a few min, Back of the ProPower from the bottom of the bed, ect? Its repeatable, Should be pretty easy to locate. Eventually some area getting wet will cause the problem. My guess is the ProPower Panel. Those covers are not weather tight. Wouldn't take much on a digital system.

3) Is anyone with a bed cover having this issue when the bed is covered? If so, that rules out the front of the ProPower Panel.
My bed has tight cover since day 1

Have you guys unplugged everything (outlets and USBs) and hit the reset button? The service manager at my local shop told me to do this.

I haven't had issues for a few weeks now, but thought I'd share this.

My bed has a roll up tonneau cover so my panel was never wet either but replacing the panel did fix it. We’ve had snow for the past couple weeks now and it has not tripped once.

Yes, just had everything pop during a wet snow storm. Door locks are now frozen too... Lol.

I really need a long cold spell when I'll be out of town to leave the truck at the dealership.

I just got my F150 Lariat PB 7.2KW a week and a half ago. Today while driving the Pro Power Onboard kept turning off while driving with nothing plugged into outlets. Once I got to my destination and the truck sat for 6 hrs the problem did not happen again.

Again I had nothing plugged into any outlets. I took a video since it kept happening. The weather was a light snow, which this was the first time I drove in snow in my new truck.

Any thoughts? I called the dealer and made an appointment but am not hopeful. I asked if they have worked on any 7.2KW generator equipped trucks and the answer was no.

Initially the dealier told me the same thing. A Ford employee monitors this forum, if you look earlier you will see when they reached out to me. I was then contacted by this person and they opened a case and got in touch with the dealer and have done a great job keeping in touch with me.

Why don't you email or call her and see if she can help:
