INTUITIVE navigation

Is it just weird or does our nav system have an intuitive feature we dont know about?
2 x in a row, when leaving the creamery in winnsboro at around 3am
i notice about a mile away , my nav screen in the cards will show HOME xxx miles and a prompt to start nav to home.
i first thought it was me accidently doing something, but it happened again this morning. tomorrow i will snap a pic

I've noticed that as well.

I swear it even knows when I'm going to the gym in the morning, even though I've never used nav to get there, or programmed it as a destination. The rough address shows up and it either shows miles or ETA, though I don't recall which.

well at least its not just me
my home is in my favorites set as HOME
i lost all my nav destinations saved in the last update, so i did put my house back in there a few weeks ago as i wanted a rough time to arrive from my spot a few hrs away. wanted to avoid a few flooded roads
but generally never tell it to take me home.
it had thought maybe i did it by accident, but this morning i was to busy surfing songs on pandora to keep me be bopping to stay alert and noticed it again ?

I mean, Google maps does this. Why not Ford's?

There is a feature in the setting that is "Predictive" or "Adaptive" or something like that. It just guesses where you want to go based on history.

However it can get screwed up, mine did, and was suggesting I go to places that I never went to. I turned it off in the settings and it has been better without it. IMO.

Google/Waze does this for me all the time. They are also using time of day and the day of the week too.

i need to check those settings, as everything got reset last week chasing some apim faults and the OTA
never thought about it .

i asked my grand daughter as i dropped her off if her grand ma would notice me taking longer to get back as i wanted to run up to sulphur springs to whataburger for a breakfast burrito
i guess i am lucky it didnt route me there

my settings must have changed after the update, as i never noticed it before. weird how things creep in and BOOM we notice them out of the blue

today it creeped me out
i was at my weekly chiropractor visit and when i got back in truck, there was the blue box in nav screen...route home? HAL is working overtime

its weird that it does not try to send me to my destination at 2 am which is the creamery to drop off the grand kid at work.
i have to look at the settings tomorrow

today it gave me the next door address as HOME when i left the docs office
i have 4 lots and park the truck on lot 3, which is 100 feet from my home address number, so i assume it figured i needed the next address number in line
really strange or HAL loves to play games
