Installing OEM Tow Mirrors

Looking for insight to installing (Part # ML3Z17696DA) tow mirrors. I haven't found any current 2021 or later videos, but I'm curious if anyone has found any issues

to install and was there any "programing" required. It would seem that other than the added switch to extend/retrack it should be plug and play? Also, I have the Platinum trim so all the goodies (i.e. BLIS, blinker, lights) in the mirrors. i've attached a photo of the current side mirror. I like the chrome and hope the tow mirrors look as nice.

You can search and find a post with what to change in the BCM to enable the running lights.

I had a small wind “hiss” from the passenger side that required a bit of foam tape around the studs but other than that it probably took 15 minutes total to install them including Forscan changes. Just don’t drop the nuts down into the door panel or you’ll be taking that off too.
