I am so glad so many of you have worked with Grainger and had a good experience. Further, I appreciate you sharing your experiences. There is no better feeling than working with someone that you were referred to.

All that said, my wife and I just picked up a new 2023 Explorer ST on 2/17. On Monday, I reached out to Grainger to buy an ESP from them as they stated in their post, but I still have not received a response from them. I was hoping this would have been a good experience as it would have been a great segway into working with them to trade my 21 F-150 for a 23.

I'll chalk this up to they were extra busy due to it being President's Day on Monday
Do what @mau47 above suggests, and reach out to them at that email address again. Monday was a holiday so that could be an issue. It is also getting toward the end of Feb so they may be getting more requests for that 0% financing offer. Good luck.

I did the email quote and within a short amount of time had some back and forth emails finalizing details with Maria. Following day she contacted me via phone, took the down-payment, got the 18 month 0% financing. Sometimes I have to pace myself when working with others, lol, but it's worth it. Give them a day or so and call the 800 number.

I purchased the $100 deductible 10 year 150k mile Premiumcare esp from Granger.

I dont recall checking the option for a rental car. What does "Rental $40 for 10 days mean" mean? Ford will reimburse me for a rental $40 per day up to 10 days if my truck is in for warranty work? Can I start using this benefit now?

FYI - for those of you still considering the purchase of an ESP from Granger, they still had them listed at cost as of 4/17/24. And, for those who purchased an ESP from your local dealer when you purchased your vehicle, you may be able to obtain a full refund on that ESP and repurchase the same plan from Granger for less, which is exactly what I did.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical so I called Ford ESP Center at 1-800-521-4144 to ask about how the refund process works and to determine how much of a refund I would be eligible for. The representative stated I was eligible for a full refund (do not recall exact requirements - just excited to be eligible for a full refund). To cancel the ESP, a simple form needed to be completed and emailed back to Ford ESP Center (form attached) and within 3-5 business days the plan would be cancelled. Unfortunately, you must called the Ford ESP Center back to confirm the plan is cancelled before you can purchase a new ESP from Granger.

What prompted all this was my wife purchased a new Explorer ST in February 2024 at a local dealer. At the time of purchase, she opted for the ESP (125k miles, 96 months with a $100 deductible) and paid $4,595.48 (see attached invoice). While I trusted what others were stating about Granger on this forum, I called Granger and verified the plan my wife had purchased at our local dealer could be purchased from Granger and the exact price. They confirmed the plan could be purchased from them and the cost would be $2,708. So, called Ford ESP Center at 1-800-521-4144 to request they cancel the ESP originally purchased. Ford ESP Center email us a simple form (attached), which my wife completed and emailed back. I called Ford ESP Center about 3 days after sending in the form and they confirmed the original ESP had been cancelled and the dealer would be issuing my wife a refund. After verifying the original plan had been cancelled, I went online to Granger's website (http://www.grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/) and purchased the new plan (see attached receipt).

All that said I hope this writeup is helpful. Take care and keep moving forward!

How to get started:
1. Go to https://grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/and put in your vehicle information. (Make, Model, Year, Miles, and your State).

2. Answer the questions regarding your vehicle and the use.

3. Choose your plan (Powertrain, Basecare, Extracare or Premiumcare) If you just want Powertrain, just click on Powertrain.

4. Choose your deductible along with the miles/years you want for your ESP.

5. As you click on those options, your monthly payments will show up.
