Finally 2023 Avalanche RCSB Delivery

Finally took delivery of my RCSB. Really happy with it. First truck I owned so pretty happy with it. If you guys have any tips for the 4x4 system or recommendations on what to do the car would love that lol. Going to ceramic coat and tint the windows. Thinking of removing the rear blocks to level it out a bit. Not sure if that will have an affect but any advice would be great for a first time truck owner lol. Will try to upload better photos

are you going to "hot rod" it? reminds me of the 90's. I love a good RCSB.
brings back memories of buying Boyds wheels and adding superchargers to Chevys. and drop spindles up front.. crazy to think that was 30 years ago

Congrats on your truck. That thing will get around very well.

I had an early 80s vintage F150 RCSB with limited slip and it did well off road (for 2wd).

It didn't like stopping so much. It stayed straight and didn't get squirrelly but it took a long time in the slick. With antilocks, it'll be much better but as a new truck owner, be aware.

Find a safe place to do some practice, the first chance you get.

I love that color. I would suggest adding rear wheel liners - makes a huge difference in the overall appearance on lighter colors.

Oh man sounds like good times haha. Not sure what route I want to go yet. I do want to do some off-roading with it but very tempted to drop it and slap a whipple.

Oh man sounds like good times haha. Not sure what route I want to go yet. I do want to do some off-roading with it but very tempted to drop it and slap a whipple.

If you have a 5.0 in that(whipple mention says you do), then you owe it to the truck loving world to go all in one way or the other. Street rod or monster truck there is no in between for you now. Destiny is calling!!

I removed the blocks (& 4x4 stickers).
Also installed Max Trax 1” lowering shackles.
Brought the truck much closer to level and to my liking.
Years of older 4x4s and they were all level from factory.
Truck is actually a bit more comfortable for me leveled. It also feels to me. To be a bit heavier in the rear, but it is a long one and there will be weight transfer.
Might have to aim the headlights a bit lower. About once a week I get flashed, but I don’t use high beams at all in my daily running about.
