I was in a parking lot the other night doing about 10mph, and I take a left turn and hear/feel a loud bang from underneath the truck, as if I had hit something solid going 30-40mph. At first I had no idea what was going on. I could suddenly hear the tires squealing/slipping as i turned, but at the time I didn't know what it was and thought I had blown out a tire or something in the suspension broke. So I stop and get out and don't notice anything, and when i get back in i realize the e-diff light is on. The thing is, I know I didn't hit the button. I hadn't changed drive modes and my hand wasn't anywhere near the knob. I was just taking a left turn.

Has anyone else had something like this happen?

Maybe check the wires and see if there's any obvious damage.

I wonder if the light comes on whether the E-locker comes on deliberately or inadvertently.

There have been a few people who accidentally turned theirs on. So far, I can't recall anyone who have had theirs spontaneously activate.
