Consistent speeds in the 30-50 range will get around 30 MPG, even with stop and go. THE critical determinant for PB fuel economy is how often the ICE cycles off, which it won't do above ~62 MPH in zero wind. I averaged 32 MPG over a 50 mile stretch between San Antonio and New Braunfels in congested interstate traffic going on average 40 MPH. Conversely, I got 16 MPG this am going 80 by myself in more or less still air with the AC on. Same trip, but I can get 22 if I slow down to 65, and I have repeatedly sustained 26-28 when drafting behind an 18 wheeler at 63-68 MPH (obviously they set the pace, I just set ACC to 1 bar). The point being, highway mileage will be horrible UNLESS you slow way down or draft because these trucks have the drag coefficient of a parachute.
