I want to believe that's true.
But something deep down inside has me still waiting until there's a healthy sample of higher mileage Gen3 3.5s.

I've had every generation. I love the motor. I even have had great luck with every one of them. But still, holding my breath and crossing my fingers optimistically. :)

my 16 eco never had problems EVER
my 22 seems to be really good as well, but only 13k miles so far on it

That's good to hear. How many miles did your 2013 and 2016 EcoBoosts have before you got rid of them? I have a 2014 EcoBoost with 151,000 miles and have never had an issue with the engine as well.

2013......35,998
2016 35,970 and 3 tenths (y) being retired we just don't clock up the miles
the 2021 f250 had 9850 on it after 13 months :eek::eek::eek:
the 2019 had over 73k when i traded it for the 13, it had a 5.4 which had some issues but not to many
