I've only used relatively low amperage (less than 5 amps) "maintainers" that say they're OK for AGM batteries.I got a new to me 21 f150 king ranch with the 3.5 eb. I guess I need to charge the battery but my old charger isn’t compatible with the AGM batteries. Any recommendations on which charger to purchase or ones to stay away from?
Thanks
Im hoping for the same results! I’ll probably be replacing the battery very soon, but want to make sure the new battery is fully charged before I reset the BSM. I’ve read on here that’s the way to do it.I bought this one based on everything ive seen in these and other F150 forums. Its been great. I believe its helped with my OTAs, by raising the SOC...

Agreed. Noco genius 10 is great. I was concerned that the supply mode would not be enough for FDRS programming because its only 10amps, but it worked like a champ even through a marathon 6+ hour update for the IPC.I recommend the NOCO Genius 10. Works great as a charger, tender, and recovery/repair unit. Generally it’s just used for maintaining the truck but when my snow blower battery died the repair mode brought it right back. Also charges our camper battery quickly if it gets down.
I do have several updates to do ( once I work up the courage!! LolAgreed. Noco genius 10 is great. I was concerned that the supply mode would not be enough for FDRS programming because its only 10amps, but it worked like a champ even through a marathon 6+ hour update for the IPC.
