Did you go with the Blue Sea 6007 so that you can add an Anderson Connector to the front bumper in the future and select which connector has power at any given time?
Well, I guess my truck just got this update because when I checked the FordPass app before there was nothing, now there is this:
The question still stands: what does this update really do under the covers?
Ford just sent me an email asking for feedback on the update 24-PU0223-VI-RBS. I don't think I've seen anything on the forum for this update (at least a quick search didn't turn anything up). Does anyone have any idea what that update contained?
There are 3 different inverter options available on the F-150.
2k - non-powerboost only
2.4k - powerboost only
7.2k - powerboost only
The 2k requires the engine to run the entire time (around 1k rpm) to produce power.
The 2.4k and 7.2k run off the traction battery and can turn the engine on...
The 2K, which is only available on a non-powerboost truck, the engine has to be running the entire time he wants power. So he was idle for about 14 hours straight.
I'm glad to see your truck could help you out in a pinch. I've got the 7.2k system on my powerboost and was out for about 40 hours...
Thanks for checking. It seems increasingly likely that I will have to do the DIY route if I want any updates in a timely fashion.
Thanks again, everyone!
I submitted an informal complaint to the FCC on the section of I-794 in Milwaukee, WI. I guess we'll see if they chase it down or not...

Is there anyone in the Milwaukee, WI area that has a Mongoose and would be willing to guide a noob through the process? I am not sure I am ready to take this on without someone who has been there before leading me in person, despite being comfortable with Forscan.
Perferablly in a show, help...
I make sure my Wi-Fi is busy doing something else, like hosting a hotspot or being fully turned off. Otherwise, it will default to the wireless connection. This is my experience with iOS.
I will toss this out here since we are talking fire extinguishers now. I've got one in my truck. I haven't had to use it, but the one I did test seemed to work well. I ended up going with the 100 in my truck; I would rather have the extra 50 seconds than not...
