Was wondering if anyone knows average delivery to California. Built on 2/4 and shipped 2/5. Dealer checked a couple of times, but says 2/8 in Topeka Kansas. Not sure if they haven't updated or its just sitting there.

Mine shipped on 1/28 and arrived 2/14, from KC.

I have been studying this to death, and from Dearborn to NoCal it has taken as little as 11 days and as much as 16 (so far).

Mine was produced 1/30 and still hasn't shipped, it has just been sitting on its ass, and I'm panicking it won't make the ETA of 3/3. (most have been beating their original ETA by good margin)

I have not studied the KC shipping times.

KC plant is being shut down for a week. Also if you had a bed liner optioned on it, it takes some time to get that sprayed on after the truck has been built.

That's what I thought too, until I saw one with wheel/bed liners and shipped 3 days after produced (off the line). Now today I see one with both wheel/bed liner and it shipped the DAY AFTER coming off the line! Pretty sure Ford just hates me at this point.

No bed liner on mine. Yeah mine shows sitting in Topeka Kansas. But the update is from 2/8. After waiting so long to get a vin, a window sticker, a confirmation on being built and now no info when its gonna show up. Going a little crazy!!!

Below is my record keeping for the order, build and delivery of my truck. It is currently in transit to Cali. It looks like it is going to take 7 days (notwithstanding weather) to get to where it will be offloaded and then trucked.

If you have a Union Pacific railcar# from your dealer, you can track the status yourself by calling this number 1-800-877-5123. When the automated UP system asks for the equipment number, it is asking for the railcar#. Don‘t worry when it asks to have a UP user ID ready. You won‘t need it. The automated voice is not very clear at times. When it asks you what you want from a list of things, the first option it gives you is ”trace”. This is the one you want.

It will also ask you if you want a fax of the status. I say yes when I can‘t understand the location that it is giving me. It is better to have that in writing. For example, the fax below lists the location as “Nplawest”. The system tried to pronounce this. It sounded Russian. The location was abbreviated from North Platte West.

Lastly, it may take you several times for the system to automatically record your saying the railcar#. Keep trying.

BTW, mine has the bed liner, max tow package, 4x4 power train and 4x4 off-road package. Apparently, neither the liner or tow package held up the shipment.

Thanks for the information! Is there a certain report the dealer uses to get train car #

Welp, this timeline answered a question I had on the other forum. A bunch of people had it "sent offsite" on 2/11 for what we figured was bed/wheel liner. However, yours shipped right after that!

Mine was produced 1/30 and same 2/11 date for sent to body shop. Still no shipment, it is just sitting. This multiple sitting and waiting is eating into all the margin built into my 3/3 ETA!

There is no way they are holding your truck for a month after it arrives in SoCal. Congrats on jumping the line, you will be driving yours soon!

The dealer shared a screen shot of their tracking system. I circled the railcar #.
