We were at a restaurant in Jeffersonville, VT, the other day and parked in front of a fairly ancient Ford truck. I have no idea what year it was. But the photo sure shows how much things have changed!
I did a little research on differences between model years. This looks like a ‘48 or ‘49. Apparently in 1950 they smoothed the bedside so it no longer has the visible support beam. The mods on this one make it hard for me to differentiate from there.
I'm guessing a '48 but that's dependant upon the guy remaining true to the black wheels. Research says the wheels went body color in '49 but who knows. Those don't look factory.
