21-23 digital dash swap now easier I think w/ 2024 parts.

Before 24’s came out only way to swap digital dash was to change driver and passenger dash pads and cluster housing to get everything to fit looks wise. After extensively looking and measuring a 23 XLT right next to a 24 XLT at the dealer, it looks as that Ford has solved the issue of having to swap dash pads to do the swap. The 2024 F150 cluster housing bezel on XLT’s and XL trucks looks to be a direct fit all 21-23 XLT’s and XL's

Comparing some part numbers on Repairlink between the years, the driver dash pad on the 21-23 XLT model is the same as the one on the 24 XLT which further leads me to believe this swap is easier now.


The problem I am having to make absolutely sure is I cannot for the life of me find the CORRECT part number for the 2024 F150 XLT cluster bezel trim. I’ve went to 3 different dealers, searched on Ford parts and Repairlink and they all show or say:


NL3Z-15044D70-AC
Or
NL3Z-15044D70-GB

These are NOT correct.

I have ordered both of these but when received the are the older 21-23 XLT cluster housings for the analog cluster. Maybe Ford is just behind and hasn’t updated some of parts on their site for the newer 24MY. I wanted to put this online to see of anyone has had any luck in location the correct part number for this cluster bezel trim piece for myself and anyone wanting to do the swap.

Ooor if anyone has a 24 they wanna pull the cluster housing and get us a part number for it ? Lol

From the looks of it and cross referencing the part numbers on the dash pad between 23 and 24MY it doesn't need to be swapped now.

Are they showing the wrong part numbers even pulling up the VIN from a MY24? I haven't looked at the cluster yet on a breakout at the parts counter.

Yes, I’ve tried probably 20 different VINS and they all come up with either of those 2 part numbers I’ve listed above. I’ve tried on repair link and then also having a few different online and local dealers look them up

I just got these on Friday afternoon also from Levittown Ford parts and they’ve always been great.
RL3Z15044D70AA or RL3Z15044D70AB.

I think we’re on something. Definitely RL3Z Is 24MY. I’m waiting on a respond back on 100% confirmation and availability. Tuesday I should have some more info and I’ll post on here when I find out.

I have a 23 with that 8" digital screen and of course I am also after the larger digital cluster that is in the 23 Lariat or Platinum or the 24+ all models.

Update: I believe I found the correct part number now for the cluster Bezzle for 2024 XL and XLT trucks.

Problem is it is backordered with no ETA. I’ve ordered it so once I receive it, I’ll verify, update the post and show some pictures.
