2024 F-150 On-Hold? Found your missing parts.. maybe

Under this Detroit style pizza... ill have to get thru this pizza to see if i found anything significant...

Ford says many of our 2024 F-150 trucks are on hold but they haven't given us a definite reason...

What do you think the hold up could be? As i might be wrong...

I actually discussed this with my dealer yesterday and he said there was an issue on the assembly line and that all the trucks that had been built are sitting in a fenced in area waiting for it to be resolved.

Apparently they took off one part they still need on these builds.

Yes, I saw the lot. They are all sitting in the same place where they were when they were short on modules because of the chip shortage. They don't seem to be releasing them yet and are stock piling them all.

Don’t release a product you cannot fulfill. The refresh simply should have waited until 2025 then.

Amazing how this idiots at ford are playing all these commercials on super bowk and now the Daytona 500 showing the new truck but know one can buy one. Talk about a stupid marketing move.

Marketing is done months in advance.
They will sort out whatever the issue is and get the trucks out.
Ford has faced lot of bad press with leading in recalls the last few years. The boss has said quality is the priority now. Holding vehicles is better than another recall to fix/finish whatever it is.
