HA! I agree. There are always the people that say they hate the new ones or that its super ugly. I believe some of these people just want the attention, and they say that about every generation. But everyone has an opinion.
Can anyone confirm if the Tow/Haul Package (53T) package also add's the heavier rear springs? Previous models with Max Tow usually included an extra leaf in the spring as well as the heavier axel.
They really just included a bunch of features as standard that were otherwise options in the XLT, such as the 360 cameras, so they aren't price cutting, they are just forcing more features in an XLT, if you don't want those features, you now go to the STX. STX is the new XLT.
Yes, I saw the lot. They are all sitting in the same place where they were when they were short on modules because of the chip shortage. They don't seem to be releasing them yet and are stock piling them all.
Has anyone discovered what the solution was to this. I am also experiencing the same issue on my 2021 Lariat Powerboost. It's a squeal at low speeds. I can only hear it when my windows are down and I am at low speeds on a street with curbs, so the sound bounces off the curb
Agree, but letting the consumer perform these updates can open up a new can of worms. What happens if a user bricks his module, making the car undriveable? Who pay's for the tow? The user will blame the software and Ford will blame the user. I'm sure these issues can be worked through somehow...
Bluecruise updates aren't related to the Trailer Brake Module software. If we understand your trailer Brake Module software version, we can help you understand if your Trailer Brakes have the software version with the expected fix, or if it has to be updated still to fix the trailer brake recall...
Yes, they spliced the wire back together and this resolved the issue. but the issue was not intermittent. It was buried below the fuse box from what I could tell. It must have taken a very skilled mechanic to find it.
Very odd! I just did 400 miles with the BB update with no problems. A hard reset will be disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and let all the modules drain of power. Then reconnect it.
If Ford really wanted to embrace technology in their vehicles, they would enable customers to make these type of customizations within Ford Pass to sync down to the vehicle rather than setting their own standards without any customer input.
