Do you know this for a fact?
Previously, it meant the vehicle was done. Now, it seems to mean that it’s done but awaiting whatever hold that has been placed.

Yes - I’ve had three trucks produced since august. All three received tear tags when they came off the line and modules first populated. All three went on chip hold and later received additional modules. In one case, the tear tag code changed before shipping. Other 2 remained the same

I believe there are reports that the tt disappears when being worked on and modules added, though I didn’t look in that time window

Yes, that’s normal now. Truck gets tear tag to assimilate all modules to the ECM. If it goes on chip hold, more modules would populate after it had them installed and programmed. The truck has all parts mated at that point, but just needs the held parts

When did your built emails come through? Do the emails ever come through while on chip hold?

that doesn't make sense. It should not be marked built or in transit if on chip hold. seems like they didnt delete that or agent read a 2nd line from the report

I questioned the agent and was told that's what the plant entered. I'll try chat again today and call the dealer if I get the same answer.

Talked to chat again today and was told the same thing minus the chip hold. Guess we'll see?

Checked with Ford chat on mine also:
"Shipped Convoy - Convoy # 1362866563 (Jack Cooper Transport ).
I also see an ETA of Dec-01-2022 for delivery to your dealer."

Looks like yours and mine are at close to the same stage. Just curious, have you received a shipped email yet? Mine says shipped on the tracker but the last email was saying it was built.

Looks like they are pretty close. I have the exact same combination of notifications as you.

Ford tracker shows shipped, last official Ford email is built, nothing on shipped from them.

Hopefully they are on their way. I was trying to see if you could run that tracking number but didn't find anything. What I did find on here was that Jack Cooper usually runs the short hauls from the plant to the waiting lots. Hope that's not the case and that they are on their way to the dealerships.

My truck was driven to the lot, not trucked. 37 miles on it.

They activated FordPass for me so I was able to watch. Went from the plant to another hold lot to the railyard/hood lot (ramp 51) across town.
