For those who asked, yes - Granger will 100% calculate the sales tax and allow you to wrap it into your loan. They send you a check to deposit in your own account and you pay your state... if they ask for it.

Uninsured dude ran a red light and hit my wife, who was driving our 3 week old son to his doctor appointment. Agree 100% that it should be a criminal offense if one chooses to drive a vehicle without the required insurance.
That said, I would support a gas tax to cover the required base level...

In my experience LAST SUMMER (you know, when they "built" my truck), a tear tag is populated when the current iteration of production is completed. SO you'll go down the line, modules will populate, and tear tag posted within a day or two. NOT DONE. They'll pull it down and repost a tear tag...
Actual placement is a great sign. N/S will eventually note unloading but only briefly as the car will be loaded and sent back the other way.
