Tempered glass on the screen is a waste in my opinion, I'm not anticipating anything banging into the screen, however fingerprints and light scratches I can see being an issue.

It also helps with glare and reflections from the display which is a huge win in my book.

I never used my screen with dirty hands either, but the scratches still came. Those sync screens don’t have high quality material covering the screen. To each their own tho

I have the OCD matte finish screen protector and I love the matte finish stopping the glare on the screen and it doesn't show 75% of the fingerprints either. Good value and easy to install.

Ever since I switched from iPhones to Pixels, I stopped using phone screen protectors as they're more of an apple needed thing. I don't think I'll put one on the truck just due to that but interested in other's experiences with these 12" screens until mine arrives in a few months. Open to using one if the consensus goes in that direction.

I guess they aren't actually available, just for pre order on the ocd plug website. But I guess any detail shop can do it

Q: I ordered this very screen protector and went to install it last week. It came without instructions. How do you get it to adhere to the factory screen? Any guidance is much appreciated!

I had my B Pillars done when Line-X did my PPF. They still look brand new without a single scratch. In the picture you can see the PPF line just below the key pad. Otherwise to go right to the edge of each B Pillar. Mine are clear. Very worth the cost to have installed.

Screen protectors generally just use a little soapy water to apply the same as any tint or PPF. Products typically come with a small spray bottle, I know the OCD Plug product does, I don't know about the tempered glass version. Spary Sync 4 screen and both sides of screen protector, apply and squeege. Here is a good video (they also have one on the B Pillars):
