I am at 26,400 with my ‘21 PowerBoost. Never an issue - other than a recall to replace a wiper arm at no charge.
The big Inverter has come in handily several times during small construction and never gave me any issue. Such a versatile and reliable vehicle!
Yes. Between the 2” Level the larger diameter and heavier tires, and the drop in temperatures, I’ve lost about 3-4 mpg. About 1 of those is from the uncalibrated speedometer, so I would guess the KO2’s cost around 1.5-2.0 mpg. Definitely worth it!
I had them on an old Pathfinder that I used to take north regularly to ski country. Loved them! From all I’ve read, the newer model is superior in many ways - including in snow.
That level looks great!
I convinced my local Ford Service Mgr to install a 2” level kit. (He was cautious and wouldn’t do a 2.5”). Still, it made a huge difference in the look & feel of the truck. I kept my stock wheels but upgraded to 34” KO2’s (275/65 R20’s).

Merry Christmas!
For the 2nd year in a row, I just added a lighted Christmas Wreath to the front of my 2021 PowerBoost. It’s a 22” natural wreath with 50 colored and 50 white LED’s. I attached it using wire ties to the Front license plate holder. For power, I plug it into an...
@RandyNC - My ‘21 Platinum Powerboost is at 21,000 miles and has had zero issues (other than a wiper arm replacement that is back ordered).
That said, there is a lot of new tech in this truck. Lots to potentially go wrong. That’s why I bought an extended warranty.
@wessermgm Thanks on the truck!
I agree with you about KO’s. I had them on a 1991 Pathfinder I used for ski trek’s in my youth - superior to almost anything without chains. Plus … they look cool. 😎

Yes, absolutely. I use the GoogleMaps from my iPhone all the time via CarPlay. You can also readily use Waze.
I do t use the Ford Navigation anymore, not since it mid-directed me to NSA HQ where I was met by several very nice gentlemen brandishing automatic weapons who conducted...

It looks like you and I have the exact same truck - a Smoked Quartz SCREW Platinum Powerboost with the FX Package!
Congrats on your tire upgrade! I also investigated putting better tires on mine and really like the WildPeaks, Ridge Grapplers, and KO2’s.
I ended up replacing...

Since the warm weather returned, I have consistently been getting over 700 miles per 30.6 gallon tank in my Powerboost.
Here’s a pic of my dashboard at my last fillup. (No towing, mostly in eco-mode commuting to/from work.) The truck said it got 25.1 mpg but my hand calculated...
@STM - I had it installed in my Powerboost Platty 2 weeks ago (took the dealership 2 days) and had similar observations - smooth and safe but seems to track closer to the passenger-side lane marker. (I thought it was just me).
Maybe I don’t do enough long haul trips but I don’t see this as the...
Ha! I have a fold-up platform that’s identical to this one (except the plastic corners are yellow.) A serious time-saver and makes washing the truck a far better experience. I’ve used it for other household projects as well. From Homer Depot -...
@puffy
These gentlemen are right. I’ve had a portable Dewalt compound mitre saw for a decade and it sometimes trips the circuit breakers of my home’s outside outlets, if I don’t do the ‘soft start’.
I bought a Powerboost last year with the 7.2kw inverter and have used I that saw many times...

In 3 days, I will have had my 2021 Powerboost for a year and have been getting 650-720 miles per tankful (30.6 gal). Even after a 2” level kit, as the weather has warmed, I’ve been getting around 700 miles.
Here’s my last one, about 760 per the dashboard, so closer to 725 real...

Good choice. I’ve been using the Magwires Ceramic Coating product on my wife’s Explorer for 2 years and it performs very well. Apply it 2-3 times per year.
For my 2021 F-150, I applied a ceramic coating (not a ceramic wax) called CarPro CQUARTZ 3.0 UK. 10 months later I am very...
Dude, I think he was just h trying to tell you the truth.
I too have a Powerboost and was averaging >23 mph all summer and fall (23.5 per the instrument cluster). Over the winter, I noticed that the mpg has dropped to 20-22, as the cold engine takes time to heat up (little benefit from the...
