I think that about a lot of the base and lower trims grilles. I also agree with you in this case.

What I’m worried about is Ford will update the grilles yearly live they have done with the gen thirteen F-150s. I’m okay with the Lariat Sport grille on my build, but I’d hate if they change it to something I like more the very next year...

Yep--I kinda like the 300/301a grille better than the "XLT Chrome" version.
since my truck will be a 301A I will get the base XLT grille.

But I do like the chrome lower bumper, but that wont come on my truck.
Oh well---can't see it from where I'll be sitting anyway.
