Weekend in Luray, VA with the trailer & family

Love this set up. New tires on the truck and trailer. Installed some US made bearings and races myself so I have some peace and mind. The truck did excellent through the blue ridge mountains to our final destination of Luray, VA. Kids and family are going to have a blast! Happy Memorial Day weekend!

I grew up in Klein, TX. northwest of Houston and summers were reasonably unbearable there too lol. I think I get more breeze and afternoon thunderstorm cooldowns here in central FLA actually.

10 years until retirement and then we'll be moving north. Hah!

I’m looking to retire in as little as 4-6 years from the USCG and looking to move up in Maine. Gotta stay away from the heat.

Funny how many want to escape the heat. I'm retired AF. After 12 years on the flightline in Rome NY (Griffiss AFB), i moved south. Told my wife we were throwing the snowblower in the pickup and driving till someone asked what it was. Then another 100 miles.

After 4 years in the Mojave desert, we cam eto lower Alabam and have been here for 20+ years.

No Longer camp, we RV. Started out with a 19ft tag along, moved up through 5th wheels till we hit 34 feet. Now were back down to 19ft
