Update not showing

So I have a 21 XLT 302a and I’ve been getting updates without issues for a while but I’ve noticed after getting 6.3.0 my truck won’t update to the next version (not sure if it’s 6.5.0 or 6.8.0) it shows the reminder icon but when I click on the details button the truck says there are no updates available. Could this be caused by me turning on the unreal theme? Has anyone else had this issue?

Several folks reporting what has been referred to as ghost or phantom updates with the bell icon indicating an update is ready for install but instead just vanishes. This started happening to me after receiving 6.4 on 12/5. Had 4 or 5 phantoms but nothing last 1-1/2 weeks or so. Don’t think there has been any explanation other than just typical Ford OTA weirdness.

My 2021 Lariat 502a is on 6.5.0, I had it show it as an update for 6.8.0, but then it just vanished, never installed 6.8.0, as I am still on 6.5.0

I don't think there is anything significant in any of the these updates though. When I do get them (like 6.5.0) all it says in minor things here and there to either 1. prepare for future updates or 2. "improve" the system in some way...I've never noticed any difference after these updates, so I don't know what "improvements" they are making, but they aren't improving my user noticeable interactions in any way.

I got 6.4 on 12/15. Xmas day i had the phantom update bell. Nothing…..2 days later when i started the truck 75 anniversary screen froze. turned off back on still there. Drove a ways and it cleared….no idea if related. Got another phantom on the 30th or so……nothing.
