Status of “Awaiting Shipment - Plant Hold”

Truck was built and release on March 15. No chip hold. It is awaiting shipment since then. Was supposed to be delivered March 27. Got delayed to April 2. And now April 18. Both Ford and my dealer don’t have information on what is going on. Anyone with similar situation? Any clue what is going on?

Same boat. Released, awaiting shipment. No holds. Just sitting there. They say eta 4/11. Every step in this process is torture. I guess they really want to cross that 9month mark on my order.

It is very weird in our case that no one knows what the reason is; neither the dealer nor Ford!!

Same here. Built 3/3 and released. Originally to be delivered by 3/18 changed to 4/3 but dealer reports says “ delayed” so who knows. It is a 701a from Dearborn.

Same deal. Have gotten 3 estimated delivery ranges only because I haven't checked in a few days to receive what I'm sure is will be my fourth.

Same boat for me. Mine was actually built 1/7, but never said anything beyond released/awaiting shipment. No delay mentioned on the VVR. Dealer doesn't know why. Very frustrating.

Nope, it was right before the chip holds started. Im wondering if they didn't have a full load to ship before they halted all the shipments, and now it's sitting with the chip hold trucks. I guess I wait until someone sees it?

Just read something interesting. It could be because of the Trailer Brake. Maybe ford is considering this a safety concern and won’t ship trucks until this issue is fixed.
