Squeaky tow mirrors

I have the tow mirrors and both of them are very squeaky when folding in and out. Does anyone know where I might put the WD-40 to stop the squeaks?

Im very interested in this answer. My drivers side mirror just started after the last car wash. I don’t know that WD40 would be the best answer. I was going to go at it with dry silicone spray.

Sounds like the mirror mounting bolts are loose
