I took mine in to see about the air dam issue. I told the Asst. Service Manager I had updated the truck via FDRS. He laughed and offered me a job. He said I'd done more than most of the techs. That's pretty sad.

I had never unplugged it. I just need to know if it had anything to do with the updates or if it is another issue.

I did all of my updates 2 weekends ago and really did not drive my truck much until this weekend. I get that same fault while traveling on the interstate. I was not making the connection until you mentioned so I will be following for any updates.

I tried running the PMI and I got the module configuration has failed.

When I'm looking at the screen and on the left are all the modules the TCU is green. I don't see a TCM one. I restated the laptop and got the same error when I ran it again. How do I run the PMI?

It's the last one on the list. The others went through fine this morning. I thought if no one had any solutions I would just try again later or tomorrow.

I finally got signed into FDR. - Thanks to the responses. Since apparently, the instructions at the top of the thread are not up to date, is there somewhere else I am supposed to be referencing?

I did not use my email for the user name for Motorcraft because I did not see it in the instructions to do it that way. I looked to see if I could change my user name but the only thing I can change is the password. The Ford page wants my email.

I tried it and it tells me the website cannot display the page with the error HTPP 500 Internal Server Error. I have been struggling with this for over 2 hours.
