Running ICE only in Powerboost?

Does anyone know if there is a Forscan hack to eliminate EV driving and start/stop?

I added an AFE cold air intake, CV intercooler, BOV, Catch can, and Borla S type (I'll tune later this summer and waiting on the Ford Performance shocks to arrive) which make this truck F'n awesome, but the EV/Start/Stop take my fun away.

So you have ICE before the light is green.

Tow haul mode will keep the engine running as long as you’re in drive or reverse.

I typically run in Sport, but I will give this a run.

I'm not tuned yet, but plan on doing one or two options that are ICE only.

The start/stop just gets to me for whatever reason.

Regardless, the Powerboost doesn't shy away from a quick sprint. Makes no excuses.

I originally bought this for low-end power when towing and gas savings, but the power is too much fun to ignore.

(and the Borla S-Type sounds really good at a stop light)

Have you tried gently power braking it while in sport mode? Might kick the engine on.

I have, and it seems like it confuses the PCM somewhat.

It will kick on briefly, but it acts like it's fighting me after one or two times.

The PB doesn’t have a start/stop disable button. It is more advanced than traditional start/stop. In normal or eco mode it remains in electric even while driving away from a stop and then transitions to hybrid drive depending on load demand. You also continue to receive cold air from the AC and other niceties that require ICE operation in a non PB truck.
