2022 XLT, FX4. Looking to go;
- 295/60/R20 Recon Grapplers on stock BAP wheels (20x9)
- Roush Fox 2.0 Front and rear coil over kit. Dealer will install and align.
Will it rub? Just spent over an hour searching for this answer in the forums so thought I'd ask. Thanks for any and all info (esp. pics of same set-up).

I have that size with fox 2.0 which I think gave me just under 2” lift. Stock 20” wheels and plenty of room. Had I known before hand I would’ve jumped up to a 35x11.5x20 tire which is just a hair bigger. Aftermarket wheels with more offset is where that starts to rub.

I don’t think you will have any issues. Your wheels with that negative offset is your best freind in this situation. Good luck

I have BAP 20s with Nitto Recon 35x11.5R20. Eibach coilovers giving 2” of front lift. No rubbing no trimming at all. Even active air dam is still in place.

PS: I think the 35x11.5 tires are actually a bit lighter too.

So, if I stay under 35” I should be OK?

In my opinion, it's much more about width and wheel offset than tire diameter. A 35x12.5 might rub when you turn the wheel, but I'll bet a theoretical 37x10.5 wouldn't. I can VERIFY that a 35x11.5R20 on stock BAP 20's doesn't rub with 2" of lift in the front.

So the Nitto site says they are 11.77 wide. On the stock wheel (44mm offset). Short of purchasing the tires and paying a restocking fee if they rub not sure how else to proceed. Thanks for your assistance.

295/65-20 Toyo AT3s on factory 20" Platinum wheels added a 1/4" spacer on front. Had slight rub at full turn.

You can find a hundred posts on here with 295/60/20 on stock wheels plus you have another poster with a larger wheel and still no rub. I get your nervous but there’s not much else anyone here can do for you outside of physically putting our wheels on your truck. Any decent tire shop should mount and let you turn the wheel to check for rub before mounting all 4. There should be no restocking fee involved, if there is then I’d find another shop. Or buy smaller wheels. My Toyo at3 295/60/20 measure 33.9x11.8”. Same tire in 35x11.5 measures 34.5x11.4”. Most aftermarket rims are at least 18-20mm offset which pushes the wheels out about an inch which is where you get your rubbing.

Which spacer are you using? Only .25 I’ve found is rough country and their not hub centric. Not sure if this causes an issue or not so I’ve been hesitant to get them.

Gljoe to be honest I'm not sure what brand of spacer the Ford dealer installed them. I'll try and find out this week

I guess I'm not sure either, I've given you all of the information that I have. Good luck.
