Real life payloads for Lariat

Crazy. Mine seems low compared to others, but it is a 502a FX4 PB with max tow, moonroof, power tailgate, etc.

My 502A is very similarly-equipped, except no FX4. The PB and moonroof are the real killers, I believe...

Still more real-world capacity than I'll likely need/use. But if so, a utility trailer or calling my F350 friend solves those scenarios.

Here's my 4WD 2022 Lariat 500A SuperCab just FYI. Note the GVWR is 7050, I think SuperCrew's have higher GVWR to offset the added wheelbase weight, all else being equal.

With the trailer and cargo that I haul I need a payload of at least 1600 lbs. Does anyone have a Lariat with a payload of at least that and if so would you please share with me what options you have.

I don't have a Lariat, but here is my XLT spec....

'22 501a PB @ 1612lbs. I've since added side steps, tonneau and the oem dropin liner so it's probably closer to 1400 or 1450. 1600 sure looks nice from the factory for the PB though.

I’ll play. Not the most, def. on the lower side, but it’ll do everything I’ll ever need it to—love the 2.7 eb as I only tow a few times a year and the MPGs are pretty solid. I think GVWR is 6600 lbs

Thanks for posting this. I'm about to order the same in a 2023 vintage, minus the moonroof, charging pad and work surface.

Looks like I have a legit shot at exceeding 1650.

23 Lariat 502A SCREW short bed, 3.5L, FX4, power tailgate, max tow, 20" wheels, 360 cameras. Payload 1595#

Added toolbox and an aluminum transmission skid plate with cat guards. Probably drops me about 100#
Usually only me, the GF, and the dog. Tow about 8000# boat.
