After a run of 70+ days in the shop and serious issue after serious issue in the year I’ve owned my truck, I was exploring a possible buyback through Ford Customer Care on my 2021 F-150. I bought my truck in Washington State, truck is registered in Ca, but it’s originally from Canada. Today I...
I had the same issue. Here’s my thread, hopefully it’ll help: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/welcome-start-chime-coming-from-small-dash-speaker-is-this-normal.15432/
Interesting, I’ve noticed the same thing on my Job 1 Lariat 502a truck…I end up sinking into the back of bottom cushion near where it meets the back if I drive for more than 20 minutes…and it can be really uncomfortable.
The 10-speed is definitely put to good use with the narrower powerband of the 2.7. How’s your around town mileage if you don’t use the stop-start.
I have a short commute with 50% 65 mph highway cruising with some hills and 50% in town with stop lights and 30-45 mph speed limits. On the highway...
Did anyone else notice that you can no longer get a Lariat with the 2.7L in the 2024 models? The base engine is now the Coyote.
I know I'm not the majority it seems, but when I got my "Lariat High" with Blue Cruise, Power Tailgate etc. I specifically wanted the 2.7--I wanted as many options as...
The OP in that thread received a whole new engine, mine just got all four of the phasers replaced. Been about 4,000 miles since my phasers were replaced and so far so good. Now my transfer case is leaking pretty bad, so it's gotta go in for that, but so far no issues with the motor. I dropped...
Does it sound like this? Myself and a few others on here have had our phasers replaced on our our 2021+ trucks. Thankfully it seems that phaser issues are rare on the Gen 2 2.7s, but there is a TSB and updated phasers for some 2021+ trucks that I shared in that thread...
Sounds similar to my experience. Maybe some helpful info in here for you: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...ash-speaker-is-this-normal.15432/#post-325213
Wait, so maybe I don't have to be paranoid that even though I got the update I'm still at risk of the explosive pop? Did they elaborate on how they know the TSB wasn't performed correctly or gave you proof? I'd love to have my buddy who is a tech confirm that mine went through correctly. It's...

Have you put in a complaint with the NHTSA? I believe I posted the link above, but I can post again. Also, after DMing nearly 100 people on here and combing through all threads here, Raptor Forums, Expedition forums, Mach-E forums and even Maverick forums...where B&O is used on Ford...
So disheartening. There are so many things I love about this truck but as somebody with hearing issues already and hoping to have a kid in the near future, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm not sure it's worth the risk... If I get rid of it, just not sure what would check all the boxes my...
Thanks for posting this. Did your truck receive the over-the-air update or did you bring it in to the dealer for the module update?
Sorry to hear about this. Please keep us posted.
Also, is your truck a Power Boost out of curiosity?
@Jesse-Infotainment @rugedraw post update the pop came back...
Some info at the link in the bottom on 2.7s and phasers. Mine on my 2021 were just replaced at 17,000 mile. Either I just got “lucky” or, long story short, the original owner went ridiculously long on the first oil change…like selling dealer out of state said oil had been changed and has...
