I’d like to see more input from people who have these wheels. I’m thinking about buying them myself.

I have them with winter rubber. Used them this past season on my truck and also put them on my Expedition. They are good. OEM quality. Offset OEM style also so flush with fenders. No complaints, they are what you would expect from an OEM wheel.

What size tires are you running on yours? This is beginning to be my biggest decision problem now. I'm not an off road person so preferring to stick with all season tires.

My Expedition is the H/O EB Stealth Performance version so its a street machine. My 5.0 is lowered so both vehicles are street use only.

I always go with a 285/45r22. Not too much sidewall and not too little sidewall.

If you look at Factory 22s on Limiteds, they come with 275/55 and it just looks off, too little sidewall. I think the 285/45 is a good balance and plenty of tire options.

You're mixing up sizes -- they most certainly do not come with 275/55 as that'd look better than a 305 45 seeing as they're 34" tire. That will look better than a 305 45. The extra 1" in diameter has a better look than the 1" of ground patch as it fills up the wheel wells. That's why all of the sub 33" tires on F150s look out of place as there's more than enough room to fit 35s.

Sorry
Stock limited are 275/50 which are too narrow/little sidewall IMO.
285/45 fits nicer.

I purchased some Michelin Defenders 305/45R22 to start out with. If I decide to change the truck height, it's only going down from where it sits now.

This is a scale photo of what they will look like. Not too bad to start out with.

The first number is the amount of tread width in mm, divide by 25.4 and you have inches. The 2nd number is the percentage of the first number that comprises the side wall -- not sure who decided this was a good idea for tire sizing, but it is, what it is. Some tires are only available in LT category, which on a 22" wheel is going to be a rough running setup no matter what you do to the suspension. The options for the 33.5"+ area are pretty slim and made up mostly of LT tires. I wouldn't run LT tires unless you're sure your situation warrants it. It takes noise / vibration / overall harshness up a couple notches.

... 22" tires - tire diameter can vary due to a specific tires tread depth ...
305*.45 = 137.25 mm of side wall (~32.8" tire) (smallest diameter of sizes)
275*.50 = 137.50 mm (~32.9")
LT285*.50 = 142.50 (~33.5")
LT 295*.50= 147.50 (~33.66")
LT 285*.55= 156.75 (~34.65") This is "35 inch" basically
LT 295*.55= 162.25 (~34.76") as is this

When I swap back and forth from my 295/35r24 to my 285/45r22, there's a noticeable difference in ride quality. My 24s ride fairly rough, the 22s better but still not great. When running a 22" wheel, I've always felt the best size for stock suspension and mild lowering is 285/45 for both looks and ride quality. The 305/45 are nice too but ive had the occasional truck in the past, including my lowered 2022, have contact rub issues. I've been through so many wheel and tire combos that it's embarrassing.

But if you want the big diameter wheel look, that's the trade off.

No. The only thing I did prior was install the 2.5inch leveling kit. I did that a while back. The new wheels and tires bolted directly on just like the factory wheels. No mods needed.

Yeah the 2.5” leveling kit would be a suspension mod, lol but good to know thanks for the info.
