Power running boards removal

I'm curious has anyone has removed their power running boards and is it a simple plug and play set up where you just unplug the wire connector and unbolt the steps?

I would think so, yes. You "may" need to make a Forscan change to prevent a pop up message or error code, but that can be done easily if there is an issue.

You can remove and yes @Jmeo is correct you will need a few changes to remove them from the truck programming so you do not have errors due to the removal.
