I noticed if I'm on the throttle while brakes are applied, the truck will cut power after a few seconds. This happens even with traction control long press disabled, and diffs locked. Is there any way to disable this?

On which setup, the 2.7 or 3.5 Eco, 5.0 or PB? If on the PB why would you want this as it is setup that way to enable regenerative braking. Keeping the IEC running when braking would prevent the regen system from working properly and severely impact economy.

Contacted Livernois to see if their tune would disable it, they said "The tune wouldn't touch anything to do with those modules so it wouldn't disable that code." So no dice there. Pulling the ABS fuse also does not fix it.

can confirm, mine does it too

I pushed the TCS button, waited for that message to go away, push-and-held the TCS button, second message came and went

stood on the gas and brake thru 5th gear, last readout i saw was 78mph and then it said "BRAKES APPLIED, POWER REDUCED". I had already lifted anyway, but it wasn't going to let me continue.

I got away with about 3 seconds of burnout before it shut me down

I think some aftermarket tunes let you get around it. You can rip donuts all day, too, but it does get angry when trying to do a brake stand. You can pull it off but it takes much coaxing. Try allowing the truck to roll 2-3mph while attempting. Seems to help, not that id know.
