That’s an interesting one. Is that right after driving? And I agree with @Sneezy your frame rails look good considering you’re in Buffalo.Any thoughts? No it’s not water dripping above or anything checked all that lol. Been happening for a few days now even when dry out.
I bought it in February brand new and this winter we haven’t even had one major snowfall event with the El Niño. The chassis likely won’t be challenged with any salt until next winter. Yessir this was recorded after driving this morning. That’s an interesting one. Is that right after driving? And I agree with @Sneezy your frame rails look good considering you’re in Buffalo.
So I asked about when it happened so I could check today. I checked when I got to work and shut the truck off and again after I got home. All I had was the heat shield cooling noise which you can hear in your video. I did not have the much louder tapping/thumping. I can take a video tomorrow morning if you’d like. I have the 3.5 EB and 36 gallon tank.Any thoughts? No it’s not water dripping above or anything checked all that lol. Been happening for a few days now even when dry out.
I topped the tank off today and it’s silent so it seems gas tank related. It was below 1/4 when it started making noise. No clue, I’ll try what SilverPigeon said if it happens as it runs through the fuel. This truck has so many relays and crap running under the hood even when off it’s hard to figure anything out lol.So I asked about when it happened so I could check today. For what it’s worth, I’m at about 7/8ths of a tank. I can run it down and see if I can replicate it if you’d like.I topped the tank off today and it’s silent so it seems gas tank related.
